The project complements the implementation of the AmaBol PrEP project. In 2021, the project aimed to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on ongoing HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria programs and strengthen the national response to COVID-19. During the project, services were expanded as much as possible for all KGNs. The project included online consultations with web specialists, referrals for DCP, and support from psychotherapists and psychologists.<\/p>\n<p>The main website is <a href=\"https:\/\/vich.kz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/vich.kz\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Key results achieved include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>11 employees were trained to provide online counseling and referrals to medical facilities<\/li>\n<li>5 psychologists and psychotherapists were trained to work with key populations and PLHIV<\/li>\n<li>employees conducted 9,489 consultations and referrals on various issues related to KGN and PLHIV<\/li>\n<li>Psychotherapists conducted 565 sessions.<\/li>\n<li>Psychologists consulted with 3,451 clients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The project infrastructure, including the vich.kz website + social networks, staff equipment, information campaigns, protocols, and algorithms, was transferred to the KNCDIZ, regional HIV centers, and NGOs to continue working with key populations and PLHIV.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>National Navigation Service for Friendly Services VICH.KZ The project was implemented with the participation of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria as part of the COVID-19 Response Mechanism (C19MR).
